چکیده
The constant demand for high-performing and more reliable roads has led to an increasing use of complex bituminous binders such as polymer-modified binders, which become a widespread practice asphalt pavement. As result, specification testing have evolved better distinguish between quality materials. In recent years, focus been devoted evaluating the rutting resistance binders. multiple stress creep recovery (MSCR) test gained popularity over last decade, especially bringing advantages in discriminating amongst bitumen. Within International Union Laboratories Experts Construction Materials, Systems Structures technical committee 272, Phase Interphase Behavior Innovative its TG1 task group, several were thoroughly evaluated, including two non-modified under various conditions address high-temperature behavior. Five laboratories performed MSCR on short-term aged after performing rolling thin film oven test, same temperature all Despite limited data set, variability was reasonable. results compared with softening point temperature, performance grade criteria, |G*| / sin?, equi-modulus temperature. able conventional parameters. It generates useful parameters, percent non-recoverable compliance are most relevant. This paper presents analysis comparison other methods.

Performance Evaluation of Polymer Modified Bitumen in Flexible Pavement
The growth in various types of industries together with population growth has resulted in enormous increase in production of various types of waste materials world over creating a problem of its disposal in eco-friendly way. To deal with the problem, study on use of plastic waste as partial replacement to bitumen in flexible pavement is considered in the present work. The work consists of an ex...
متن کاملComparative Study of Eva and Waste Polymer Modified Bitumen
Polymer-modified bitumen is used to combat different pavement distresses and to increase the life span of pavement. Unmodified bitumen cannot perform better with the range extreme minimum and maximum pavement temperatures. The polymers commonly used to modify the bitumen are ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) styrene butadiene styrene (SBS). The aim this study to compare the performance of EVA modifi...

SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer) modified bitumen is one of most widely used polymer modified bitumens in China. It is also not satisfactory when subjected to extreme conditions. Multiple-walled carbon nanotubes, as a type of advanced nanomaterial, are investigated extensively because of their strong adsorption capacity. Little research has been done about MWCNTs/SBS modified bit...
متن کاملCharacteristic Points of Stress-Strain Curve at High Temperature
Determination of critical points on hot stress-strain curve of metals is crucial in thermo-mechanical processes design. In this investigation a mathematical modeling is given to illustrate the behavior of metal during hot deformation processes such as hot rolling. The critical strain for the onset of dynamic recrystallization has been obtained as a function of strain at the maximum stress. In a...
